After nearly two years of anticipation, Sunreef Yachts and BRABUS have officially unveiled the BRABUS ULTIMA 55, marking the first production model to emerge from their partnership.
Built on Sunreef's all-new ULTIMA 55 platform and reimagined with BRABUS' unmistakable design DNA, the yacht blends the spaciousness of a luxury catamaran with the styling and performance-inspired details that have made BRABUS one of the world's most recognizable automotive brands.
Rather than creating an entirely new yacht from scratch, BRABUS has transformed Sunreef's latest platform with signature materials, finishes, and design elements while preserving the performance-focused foundation of the ULTIMA 55.
A New Chapter for Sunreef and BRABUS
The BRABUS ULTIMA 55 represents the first yacht produced through the collaboration announced by Sunreef Yachts and BRABUS in 2024.
The partnership brings together Sunreef's experience building luxury multihulls with BRABUS' reputation for transforming high-end performance cars from brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Bentley, and Maybach.
The result is a yacht that carries the distinctive personality of BRABUS while retaining the efficiency, stability, and generous living space that have become hallmarks of Sunreef's catamarans.
Performance Meets Luxury
At 17 meters (55 feet) in length, the BRABUS ULTIMA 55 is powered by twin 725-horsepower six-cylinder engines, delivering a top speed of more than 40 knots.
One of the yacht's defining features is its foil-assisted design, which helps reduce drag, improve efficiency, increase stability, and deliver a smoother ride at higher speeds.
By combining the stability and interior volume of a catamaran with the performance characteristics typically associated with a sport yacht, the ULTIMA 55 offers a different approach to high-performance cruising.
Distinctive BRABUS Design
The automotive influence is immediately recognizable throughout the yacht.
Owners can choose between Graphite Black or Phantom Grey exterior finishes, complemented by exposed carbon fiber accents, illuminated BRABUS logos, premium aluminum details, and integrated LED lighting.
Fold-down side platforms transform the aft deck into an expansive beach club, while adjustable sunpads, a carbon-fiber dining table, wet bar, and electric barbecue create multiple entertaining spaces on board.
An Interior Inspired by BRABUS Supercars
Inside, the BRABUS influence continues with Moonstone leather upholstery, Alcantara headlining, exposed carbon fiber trim, and customizable ambient lighting.
A panoramic helm interface, retractable television, and Bowers & Wilkins Marine Series audio system further reinforce the premium experience.
Owners can choose between a two-cabin layout with a spacious owner's suite and VIP cabin or a three-cabin configuration accommodating up to six guests. Both layouts include separate crew accommodations while maximizing space and privacy.
More Than a Styling Package
While BRABUS is best known for bold exterior styling and high-performance road vehicles, the ULTIMA 55 goes beyond cosmetic upgrades.
The collaboration introduces a complete design philosophy that extends from the yacht's exterior appearance to its interior finishes, layout, and onboard experience.
As the first model from the Sunreef and BRABUS partnership, the BRABUS ULTIMA 55 offers an early look at what could become an entirely new lineup of luxury performance catamarans in the years ahead.
